Music Video Ideas | Shots & Editing
I took a few screen shots from a music video cover that I really got inspired by and would like to incorporate into my own final music video. I thought these editing techniques and different shots were really interesting and added so much flare into an extremely simple sit down music video, which is ultimately what I am planning to do as well.
This traditionally the look that I am going for with my music video, however instead of having a completely plain black background, I might just keep my garage wall as the back drop as I feel like it will give off more of a rustic and natural vibe.
I really liked the idea of having a light behind my 'singer' and having it peek through in a shot or two as it gives off the illusion of a scene that as been extremely edited and contoured with, when in reality it's just a simple scene with proper lighting.
This was one of the editing techniques that I really liked and will learn how to do so I can apply it to my music video. I think the pop of colour really adds diversity within the video and makes it not so boring and simple.
